The short answer: everything. Another favorite answer of mine is: “let’s see if it helps”.
The longer answer is pain, emotions, hormones, fertility, stress, digestion, headaches, migraines, and so much more. Let me keep going: Bell’s Palsy, post-stroke, phantom limb, tinnitus, pregnancy symptoms, labor and delivery preparation, postpartum and lactation issues - do you get the point yet?!

In general it does not. The needles are very thin, like a piece of hair thin, just happens to be a lot stronger. I also trained in Japanese Acupuncture technique which is very gentle. In my opinion it is really important for the patient to be comfortable and to be able to relax, so if anything is uncomfortable we will adjust it.

All ages are welcome. As long as they are willing and interested in acupuncture. We can treat from a few weeks old to many many weeks old. We adjust our treatments according to the age, we use a technique called shonishin for babies and everyone else can get needles (or as I like to call them magic sticks!)

No we don’t take insurance. We can provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance if they cover acupuncture. We do accept HSA/FSA.

It depends. I know, literally the worst answer ever.
My general rule of thumb is the closer to the “issue” that you get acupuncture the faster you will see a difference. It can take longer to treat things that have been around for longer, but that doesn’t mean there will not be some type of change. We will come up with a plan during your first visit on frequency and number of treatments.
